Diploma in Registered General Nursing (RGN)

A comprehensive 3-year tertiary program combining classroom lectures, human anatomy lab exercises, and supervised clinical hospital postings.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

  • WASSCE Candidates: Passes (A1–C6) in Core English, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science, plus passes in three Elective subjects.
  • SSSCE Candidates: Credit passes (A–D) in three Core subjects and three Elective subjects.

B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Science Degree)

An advanced 4-year degree pathway focused on nursing theory, clinical research, community health leadership, and complex patient care management.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

  • Secondary Graduates: Aggregate 24 or better in WASSCE/SSSCE with strong background in Elective Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Elective Mathematics.

B.Sc. Nursing Top-Up (Post-Diploma)

Designed for practicing Registered Nurses (RN) holding a recognized Diploma who wish to upgrade their qualifications to a Bachelor of Science degree.

Clinical Rotations & Hospital Attachments

Practical training is integrated throughout all program levels. Students complete mandatory rotation hours in regional and municipal hospital facilities across the Western Region of Ghana to build essential real-world clinical experience.
